Frequently Asked Questions

Is this right for me if I'm currently employed?

Yes, and honestly, this is the best time to do it.

The professionals who come in while still employed have the most leverage. They're not applying from a place of desperation. They have time to be selective, to target the right roles, and to negotiate from a position of strength rather than urgency.

If you're underpaid, undervalued, or simply know you've outgrown your current role, but haven't started searching because your resume isn't ready, this is exactly the right moment to invest in getting it right before you need it.

Can you guarantee results, and how soon will I see them?

No, and I'd be cautious of anyone in this industry who does. Outcomes depend on many factors: the market, your timing, your follow-through, your job search strategy, your interview strategy, and the rooms you choose to walk into.

What I can guarantee is the quality of the documents and the strategy behind them. What my clients consistently produce when they show up for the work is a median salary increase of $20,000, more callbacks, and a clearer path to the roles they actually want.

On timing: clients who come in with a clear target, complete the intake thoroughly, and start applying consistently with their new documents typically begin seeing movement within 30–60 days. More callbacks. More interviews. More traction. Beyond that, results depend on the level you're targeting and how competitive the field is.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! Career Elevation ($697), Elite Positioning ($997), and Academic & Executive CV ($1197) packages all come with an optional 50/50 payment plan.

If this is the path for you, after your discovery call, once you've selected your package and signed your service agreement, you'll have the option to pay 50% to lock in your spot and we get started. The remaining 50% is due before your first draft is delivered, which lands 5 to 7 business days after you complete your intake questionnaire. Both payments are invoiced directly to you, so there's no financing application, no credit check, and no interest. You'll get a reminder while your draft is in progress, and nothing to track beyond that.

Career Essentials is the one exception. At $497, it's paid in full at booking.

Do you offer refunds?

Due to the custom, time-intensive nature of this work, refunds are only available within 24 hours of signing your service agreement and completing payment. After that window, all sales are final.

What I offer in its place is meaningful: two full rounds of revisions included with every package, so you're fully supported through the entire collaboration.

Before booking, I want you to feel certain. Your discovery call is entirely about you: your career, your goals, and whether this work is the right fit for where you're going. There's no pressure to commit to a package on that call. And if you have additional questions before then, please feel free to email me directly. I am happy to answer any questions.

Why should I hire a resume writer if I can just create my own resume with AI?

The number one thing to remember about AI is that the output is only as good as the input, and most people don't know what they don't know. If you're unsure how to quantify your impact, which accomplishments to highlight, or how to position your experience for the role you actually want, AI doesn't know either. It will give you a polished version of the wrong story.

AI-generated resumes also tend to sound exactly like what they are: generic, templated, and interchangeable. They miss the nuance, the texture, and the specificity needed to tell your individual career story in a way that lands. Recruiters read hundreds of resumes. They can tell.

As for how I use it: transparently. Every resume starts with me, hand-written, strategy-first, and built around your unique experience. I then leverage AI to pressure-test and optimize that work, so your documents perform at the highest level in a hiring system increasingly shaped by AI screening. Human strategy drives every decision. Technology amplifies the result. I control the machine. Not the other way around.
